الْخَيْطِ (Tread/Theme)

الْخَيْطِ means; thread, theme, direction, subject matter and a particular piece of writing. When you go to internet and find some particular discussion on any topic you always notice the terminology of “live thread” or “closed thread”. If any write up is removed they write “thread closed”. Therefore, you can eat and drink unless there is any written reference of abstaining from eating and drinking in Ramadan, which has come from Allah in black and white. الْفَجْرِ is already used in the Quran in the sense of wicked, penalty and recompense together with rising the day. However, all reputable dictionaries mention the Arabic word الْفَجْرِ to meaning: starting, inception, daybreak, blast, blow up, set off, act of immoral and sinful. So, in the said verse 2:187 the same word الْفَجْرِ is used in its primary meaning: already visible, burst to clear and able to be penalised, wicked or sinful.
